Abstract

This community service activity aims to empower santri and santriwati in the Al-Mawaddah Warrahmah Kolaka Islamic Boarding School through training in making bean sprouts, a food product with economic value and easy to produce. Methods used methods used include lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practices, which were attended by 41 santri and santriwati with high enthusiasm. Evaluation results evaluation results showed that the participants managed to make quality bean sprouts within 3-5 days, and understood the economic potential of the product. This training is expected to not only improve the skills of students, but also encourage the development of bean sprouts-based business units in the islamic boarding school environment, supporting economic independence and local food security. Through this activity, students are expected to be able to see entrepreneurial opportunities and contribute to the economy of the islamic boarding school and the surrounding community.
